Zimbabwe’s pioneer president, Robert Mugabe has died at the age of 95 years, the BBC repots. According to his family, Mugabe was battling health issues before he died.
Mugabe, who was ousted from power in november 2017, led the country for over 30 years.
Fadzayi Mahere, Zimbabwe’s Education Secretary, has tweeted a fairwell message to the former leader.
Mugabe was born on February 21, 1924 in then Rhodesia.
